AARGH!

Haven’t blogged for such a long time, anyone miss me out there? Am involved in projects after projects both for work & ‘aktiviti kurikulum’, it feels like being in UNIVERSITY/school all over again! The adrenaline rush is great & makes the heart pump faster, and the brain work harder too!

Just wanted to share on one of the project’s that I’m in - a 2-day Public Speaking & Presentation Seminar (organised by Subang Toastmasters Club). It’s coming up in November & now we are still looking for participants-so far got 2 confirmed so that’s a good kickstart to the whole project.

Maybe i should mention abit about SpeechCraft (aka Public Speaking & Presentation Seminar). It is being organised by Subang Toastmasters Club & although i’m not a member there, I got busy body (as Clyde would probably say) & now heads the project as Marketing Director. The intention of the Seminar is to improve those skills in a tried & tested method developed by Toastmasters International (VIsit Toastmasters Website here).  It’s not as expensive compared to other training & development seminars out there, and will be held in Hotel Armada PJ, 19th & 20th November. I’m merely taking this chance to learn how to run the project & then will be implementing a similar project for my own Healthcare Toastmasters Club sometime next year.

Then, there’s the Ti-Ratana activity, first the PMR seminar, then SPM seminar, then the Arts for All (Food & Fun Fair event) held at Bkt Kiara Equesterian Club which people say was a success & i got a chance to play TV show host while making snow-skin moon cakes!), coming up will be the examination blessings & finally the Ti-Ratana Annual Dinner at the end of Oct!

And also helping a friend get talents for voice-overs, arranging studio time & lepaking at studio while they record voices…

Phew… so much to say but having a brain freeze right now & sleepy too! Gotta zzzZzzz

Whew…been so busy lately & without my old reliable laptop…wasn’t able to put up new pictures on the blog.

So far, the new job’s been great - 5 days a week, clocking out on time…and even had the time to travel outstation to 3 different trips, and it’s only been 4 weeks. My colleague kept on asking me to LEARN FASTER, LEARN FASTER, as he is leaving the company too! (I hope it wasn’t because of me that he decided to move on to ‘greener pasture’ overseas, i.e Singapore!)

Anyway, my old company’s email is still accessible &  GUESS WHAT? They are going on a company trip to Bangkok, but only for 3 days 2 night (minus travelling time, it leaves u with 2 days, 2 nights.(lose about half a day on the first & 3rd day due to travelling) and i can’t go…but it’s alright, was already there twice in yr 2004, once for training & another for backpacking with my good old buddy - Khao San Backpacker’s Paradise!

Another sad news is that my good old buddy’s dad just passed away-yesterday! We (friends) all knew that he had suffered from a heart attack last year, but he seemed rather well and suddenly he’s no longer with us in the world. I feel sad for her , but glad that she’s strong enough to carry on… We must learn to cherish our loved ones, and also kick off bad habits that may endanger ourselves (this is self talking to self, ok? I know what to do already!)
