Have U watched the show 24?…about the last 24 hours before the world is actually destroyed (or something like that)…

Anyway, looking at my clock now & I realised its another 33 hrs to go until … 28th Nov 2005, 10 am - ROM! Does that mean that i’ll lose my identity as SHEL & have to be called Mrs Thein?!?! =D                                I don’t mean to have parallel comparison to the show 24, i suppose i’m kinda nervous to face this NEW CHAPTER of life. It’s surprising after knowing Clyde for more than 10 years & dating for almost 9 years, there’s so much to learn about each other & everyday brings little surprises that one will not expect - like the ring episode! (Btw, i got my ring back & resized to be able to wear it on my correct finger this Monday- HIP HIP HURRAY!) And the attention he puts into preparing the luncheon on Monday with his friends after ROM (thanks ET & Lili) & our list of family & frens attending it (in the next 33 hrs) seems to be growing & growing…

After Monday, we’ll still carry on our lifes as usual, going to work, hanging out during weekends, bcos the new house is not ready yet… PHEW! It’s quite a relief actually so that there’s time before the end of this year & during the holiday seasons to clean up/pack my room for moving over to our new place which is incidentally not too far away from where I’m staying right now! Can’t wait for that too, having a little place of our own, decorating it (which is Clyde’s forte, not mine) & having a proper rack to pur my books (Finally!)

Not sure if I can sleep tonight, but gotta sleep - tomorrow there’s the hairdresser to go to & manicure pedicure session, then early monday is make-up, pick up flowers & finally ROM!

CAN’T WAIT FOR MONDAY!

NOVEMBER has been like a month full of gifts & toys of sorts for me… =D

First… it was a little gift from my darling bf of 9 years (this month-end), a bright looking thing. You see, by the end of this month, the status will change from "In a Relationship" to "Married"! Clyde has finally POPPED the question…and as you can see I was so delighted i couldnt keep my eyes off (not him) but my fingers! was wearing it for a couple of days already but just sent it back to resized so that it can be propped on the proper finger & not just on the engagement finger.

Well, these pics were taken with another new toy (or rather a gift to myself!)…a Panasonic digital camera cum digital video recorder cum voice recorder cum MP3 player…all @ RM350. Ori was @ RM1k odd,but it was on 70% at Jusco when Clyde & i (& my buddy Fa & her god-bro from Penang & his gf) were there for dinner! It’s been a fun month (or at least for half a month!?!?!) So that was the 2nd happy thing…i brought it almost everywhere, to my fren’s HEN’s nite (read below), to my Toastmasters Club meeting, to yam char session with frens, and hopefully later on to help Y.E. do voice recording for a DJ talent search!!(Mental note to self: must get this done before end of month!)

Also got a chance to go out with some girlfrens beginning of the month for her "HEN’s NITE". Olive’s wedding is in Dec & met up with another girlfren to hang out with O’s university fren. Has a good time dancing & drinking games…thankfuly didnt overindulge i.e. vomitted like the last time i had a drinking game in Hartamas with Jen et. al. at Randhill’s bar! Hehe, still remember the Hartamas episode, POP a tequila, POP another tequila, down a shot of beer & i didnt know how many more shots of beer i downed-what to do, very bad at card games! Can’t pop any pics except this one bcos it was kinda dark in Hard Rock that nite & it was only my 2nd day with the gadget…didnt know how to adjust the contrast, etc yet. It was also fun to play with Olive & her cake…

Dunno if u can see the cake…but it looks like a certain anatomy of the male species! =D ;p

My boss gave me the day-off on my ROM day too, although only been with the company for 3 months…YIPPEE! Time sure flies very fast… it’s already 15th Nov as i speak… gotta eat less, work out more or I might not even fit into my dress on ROM!

So much to do still (not only work) but all the prep for ROM. Ppl say there’s nothing to prep for ROM, just sign the papers & be done with it. I wished it was a simple deal like that, my buddies took their day-off too & preparing for my ‘bouquet’ of flowers, hari, pedicure, make up lessons, getting the Panasonic gadget ready to take pics for the day, finding a place for a simple lunch with family & frens ;p … but it’s been’s fun experience so far. OK la! Dont wanna bore anyone (commented by a fren not too long ago!) & hope that your month has been great too!
