OLD already!

Oh boy! My birthday just came & went…in a blink of an eye. It’s hard to believe that I’ve almost reached the end of my 3rd decade on PLANET EARTH! =p The few good things that happened though - one of my oldest buddy celebrated the b’day with me (Her hubby & mine included). Luckily only put 1 candle on the cake! Then another long long buddy buzzed me all way from JAPAN! Got a shock of my life as tried to sleep & *RING RING* a super long long number appeared on me handphone. And all the sms, emails & friendster’s message a day before, on & a day after that day! PHEW! Finally got a landline, and it feels so much cheaper to call mommy, daddy or other people with landline instead of using the MAXIS…gotta save save in preparation of the dinner next year. And of all things, it will be only 2 weeks plus from CNY. C & i got our bridal gallery picked out, but have yet to go for the shoots. both of us gotta lose a bit, or at least tone up some ‘flabs’. I never realised that preparing for a wedding can be so ‘mah fan’. First there’s the list (from both parents, our frens,colleagues, etc). And the compulsary chinese ceremonial/ritual, then have to think of theme for the night & matching it with the deco, doorgifts, wedding cards, bridal wear. Of course, the booze was bought like a year ago(I feel like i own a winery right now, so if anybody needs wine, can call me-maybe i give u at 10% mark-up only!) We were thinking it’s a long way more to go, but … its only another 100 odd days more! A relief that I’m no longer bogged down with the weight of presiding over my toastmasters club- got a wonderful team of committees that’s ready to take the challenge & move the club to greater heights! (or at least, we are still very gung ho/enthusiastic about it!) We’re even gonna get a banner & I’m thinking of making badges. This year gonna try attempting the humor speech contest, never think that I’m a joker or could tell jokes…but if nobody laughs at what i say, then they may laugh at me! I miss being online, checking mail anytime i wanna do so…now gotta go to public places to check mail, check friendster, posts pictures, etc. Luckily subang is loaded with wi-fi zones! Can’t wait to have a dive holiday la!!!
