=D (smiley)

been a little crazy about posting photos on the friendster after learning how one of the many "on-line slide show providers" …thus making the process of sharing lovely , cute and usually funny pictures with family & frens so much easier!  u should try visitng http://rockyou.com & try it on your own

if u have read about the "highlights" & lowlights" that has happened over the couple of mths…i just wanted to add some lovely pictures that a fren (eric) took while we were in our Tioman dive trip. hubby & I so bollocks…never bring camera, how can?!?!? what to do, that time, hubby didnt buy his new camera yet!

So after this picture project attached with this post, look out for darling hubby’s picture project done during the Brickfields Wesak Walk…lovely night view !

=D

it seems i cannot post the picture into the blog.(p/s : i already try 2-3 times that when i paste the instructions, it looks like rubbish print-outs)..bcos i’m only a basic user (so basic users have to paste one by one the photos!) but no worries…i’ve just added the slide show to my travel reviews…check it out, please…pretty please?!

FUYOH!

I’m not advertising for the yellow telco…but that’s how I felt the past few months has been. U see, since after the wedding – have not been blogging much =D

There were so many things happening in the last 4 months , from ups to downs to left to right…just like the ingredients of an AIS KACANG – u either love it or not (i.e. hubby never takes ais kacang with beans) If I have to update on the peculiar or interesting things over the past 4 plus mths…it would be as below , but in no particular order of preference or enjoyment , etc.

1) Going to Langkawi as 1st pseudo honeymoon (more reasons to say this is the 1st of several pseudo honeymoon encountered post-wedding; as you read along) U can read a review I did on Langkawi island – we call it pseudo honeymoon bcos we had to go somewhere after the wedding & M’sia’s low cost carrier had a bargain on the flight tickets & I had free hotel stays at Langkawi…so we scooted to the island. (This was post-filming of TEMAN by fren ceekay & gave us all the wonderful preview on what we could do there.) Of course, besides eating, watching sunsets, and visiting all the touristy places on Langkawi… we also did loads of shopping! If u love miniatures …u can get really bargains at the duty free next to Water World. So after a fantastic time watching the penguins…help urself to little drops of JD, absolute, whatever your choice of poison. We even tried lobsters @ Telaga

2) Going to Tmn Negara for the 1st time …can be considered 2nd pseudo honeymoon bcos it was a gift from one of the wedding dinner guests. Spent 3D2N @ Mutiara Tmn Negara…classy & expensive place and if dirt is the type of adventure u will like, I recommend the boarding room style accommodation before crossing river into the jungle-only RM10 per night! We walked and trekked the jungle to canopy walkway, took a boat ride up one of the many rivers and mini rapids to Lata Berkoh (apparently LATA means bathing place in bahasa melayu…not bad learning new words)    A highlight during this holiday was while dinner on one of the many floating restaurant, it rained elephants & hippos! We were basically praying that the restaurant will not float away with the rain! Rainforest rains are really something to behold. Presumably, this trip was really too short – must try at least 3N in future. So much to see, so little time. Hehe, at night the room were quiet & no mosquitoes, sometimes got night visitor outside our wooden house/hut/room – the cute BABI HUTAN! ((Luckily got heated shower & air-cond bcos the whole time, was sweating like babi…when walking around Tmn Negara.)

3) Finally re-visiting the in-laws @ Malacca for Cheng Beng. =D Twas a good time to speak in baba language & trying to understand who everyone was bcos the titles like ‘a-go’ or ‘mak- mmm’ is similar to Hokkien signifying uncle or aunty. As usual when in Malacca must visit Jonker’s street & had to buy mom-in-law’s order of Pineapple tarts. Btw, just finished the packet we bought during that trip 2 wks ago; goes to show that food can really last in our house!

4) my maternal grandpa passed away in April…about a year after maternal grandma passed away. It was a long Chinese funeral (6 days in total) & a good time to get together for all the family members. Even helped my cousin study her micro notes in between the prayers. Some-what glad that he suffers no more (after 6 yrs of paralysis & dementia…I suppose this passing was a good thing.)

5) Doing income tax early (bout 3 wks before closing date) & trying e-filling for the first time, but not my taxes…my sis-in-law’s. Damn easy to do this e-filing. Only leceh is the downloading of Certificate/Sijil that takes > 5 mins even on broadband. Only 2 plausible reasons – either the sijil cacat or broadband cacat…take

ur

choice

6) PAHANG REGENT’S REEF @ pulau Tioman. Our 3rd pseudo honeymoon??!?! Nope, this is definitely the honeymoon!

I did 6 dives in this trip! Hubby didn’t have that much problem diving like before – no vomiting, no nose bleed… and definitely a chance to revisit the place where it all BEGAN…Tioman island @ ABC village. =D We stayed at Salang & not ABC…and it’s also a duty free island. Beers for RM 3, better drink beer than water! This trip I forgot to pack the wetsuits…so hafta settle with board shorts & rash guard – trying to look like surfers…

The journey there was definitely another adventure…clyde was traveling from JB (post work week), while Jess & I (2 ladies) was in my WIRA driving in the dark & winding road for 2 hrs from Kluang to Mersing. Thank god we were busily talking in the car & listening to CD player…to be distracted by anything or any being that could cross our path . PHEW…takut jugak lar driving that stretch of road…dunno how hubby managed to keep calm & cool!

As usual, after every dive trip I get to keep physical memories aka scars from jelly fish stin. When we got to Mersing on Sunday (post-trip) I had to try out the govt hosp service bcos no GP open to give me my antihistamine jabs & medicine. But it was really worth-it, an injection, calamine lotion & antihistamine pills for only RM1, including consultation fees! When we wlaked out to the carpark, clyde still cannot believe it was RM 1! Will try to mpost some beautiful pics after I get it from fren =D

7) Wesak walk after missing it for 3 consecutive yrs… definitely more elaborate than before, 1st time seeing ppl carrying Buddha image aka kavadi style on Thaipusam for the procession. Imagine carrying something so heavy for the whole duration of 2hrs around  KL town! Although I’ve been ‘keeping fit’ via walks at

Subang

Lake

with buddy Fa, and also swimming at the club weekly…so unprepared for this wesak walk la! After 1 wk, my legs still aching & paining from the walk. Old liao! Also managed to bump into old frens like Chris & MeiYee from UM, and kuachee from camp…

Life’s never a dull moment, ain’t it?!?!
